Is there a membership fee for joining & what are the benefits for registering as a member?
Our membership fee cost £5 which is valid for one academic year (2022-2023). Benefits from our membership includes:
Participate in our family-buddy system
Reduced price on registration on events
Concessions on food & drink from our partnered restaurants
What is the family-buddy system?
Members of the society is split into each "family" where there will be a person or two who has an experience living in Edinburgh acting as the "parents" of the family. Our goal out of this system is to ensure that our new members are able to adapt with the changes of living in Edinburgh, and to also bring an experience close to home where each family can organise their own events (movie night, sports, dinner, etc)
Do you have any tips for transfering students from the Malaysian campus to the Edinburgh Campus?
We have compiled the important information for your journey to Edinburgh on our Pre-Departure Handbook.
